Day 14 – Tayen shows off her letter from Santa in braille

There’s still time to get a reply from Santa if you write quickly

Each Christmas, Tayen writes her letters to Santa in braille. Tayen, who is 10 years old, has a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis (NF1) and tumours that have caused her to lose her sight.

This year Tayen, has not only written to Santa to ask for a reply in braille, she’s also made a beautiful Christmas picture to show how important this time of year is.

With RNIB’s support, Tayen will get sent a letter in braille from Santa while other children get letters in audio or large print formats.

It’s only 10 days till Christmas, but if you want to get an email message from Santa, there’s still time. If you want to request a letter from Santa to be emailed to a blind or partially sighted child. All emails are sent with a 16pt letter attached.
