Day 13 - How do you eat Christmas differently?

Take our poll and tell us what Christmas dinner means to you

As we gear up for Christmas at the end of an uncertain year, one of the good things we can all look forward to is tucking into our favourite foods. But we want to know what’s on the top of your food list at Christmas – we all experience Christmas differently and we also eat different foods. Prawn cocktail, curry, turkey, nut roast – they are all up for selection. So, help us find what’s at the top of our Christmas charts by taking part in our community poll and show us how you eat Christmas differently.

Priority shopping slots

We know that after a difficult year, Christmas 2020 will pose challenges for many of us. If you need help please call our Helpline on 0303 123 9999 but, in particular, if you need support getting access to essentials, including food, at this time of year please contact us.

RNIB can support blind or partially sighted people who are struggling to access food. Supermarkets are advising customers to book a slot as soon as possible with increased demand around Christmas in mind, so do get in touch as soon as you can.

We can provide help and advice, and for people in England, and some areas of Scotland, we may be able to refer you to priority supermarket delivery slots via the RNIB Helpline on 0303 123 9999.

In Northern Ireland, anyone in need of food or other essential support can phone the Helpline on: 0808 802 0020; email: covid19@adviceni.net, or text: ACTION to 81025.

In Scotland, there is a National Assistance helpline for access to food and groceries.
